Commission Info

These Terms of Service (ToS) regarding the commissioning, creation, and delivery of digital illustrations by IrisRosebud.com, from owner and illustrator, Taylor Reeves, for the client (Client Name Here). By commissioning the Artist, the Client agrees to be bound by these terms.

2. General Terms

• The Artist retains the right to refuse any commission for any reason.

• Commissions are only for personal usage unless a commercial license is purchased.

• The Client must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent/guardian to commission the Artist.

3. Process

• Initial Consultation: The Client provides details of the commission, including desired style, subject matter, and any specific requests included via email a PDF or .ZIP file.

• Quote & Agreement: The Artist provides a quote based on the details provided. Once agreed upon, the commission is confirmed, and these ToS take effect.

• Time frame: The Artist will provide an estimated completion time. This time frame is subject to change based on the complexity of the commission and the Artist’s workload.

4. Payment

• Pricing: All prices are listed in the Canadian dollar (CAD) and are subject to change based on the scope of the work.

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 46% is required to secure the commission.

• Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon completion of the artwork and before the final files are delivered.

• Payment Methods: Accepted payment methods include Ko-Fi, Paypal, Interac E-transfer

• No GST or PST charged for clients outside Canada.

5. Rights & Usage

• Artist's Rights: The Artist retains full copyright of the commissioned artwork. The Artist may use the artwork for portfolio purposes, self-promotion, and marketing unless otherwise agreed.

• Client's Rights: The Client receives a license for personal use of the artwork. Commercial use is prohibited unless a separate license is purchased.

• Prohibited Uses: The Client may not claim the artwork as their own, resell it, or use it in a manner not explicitly permitted by the license.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

• Client-Initiated Cancellations: If the Client cancels the commission after work has begun, the deposit will not be refunded. A partial refund may be provided depending on the amount of work completed.

• Artist-Initiated Cancellations: If the Artist is unable to complete the commission for any reason, a full refund will be provided, including the deposit.

7. Delivery

• Format: The final artwork will be delivered in .PNG file at 6x9 Inch with 350 ppi

• Delivery Method: The artwork along with a PSD copy and invoice will be delivered via Email.

8. Confidentiality

• Both parties agree to keep any confidential information regarding the commission private unless permission is granted in writing.

9. Dispute Resolution

• In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be taken to mediation or arbitration.

10. Governing Law

• These ToS are governed by the laws of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Any legal actions must be filed in the courts located in Vancouver, BC.

11. Changes to Terms

• The Artist reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. The Client will be notified of any significant changes.
